Pink summer beauty edit
Some summers are tangerine. Other summers are pink. This one, for me, is pink. Soft strawberry skin, milky glaze on the nails, that just left the spa kind of glow, and skincare that feels like a treat instead of a chore.

I've been testing a lot of K beauty lately and four products have really stood out. They all play into that pink summer mood, they all feel a bit fancy, and they all earned their spot on my shelf. If you're craving a softer, dewier vibe this season, this is the edit for you.
Heads up, some of these are affiliate links, so I might earn a small commission if you shop through them. It doesn't cost you a cent extra and it keeps selfcaring.eu running. Thank you in advance if you click through.
Biodance Real Deep Mask, organic collagen mask 34g
If you've been on TikTok at all in the last year, you've probably seen this mask everywhere, and yes, the hype is real. This is an overnight hydrogel mask. You stick it on before bed, sleep in it, and peel it off in the morning. It melts into your skin while you sleep and you wake up looking weirdly well rested, even after five hours.
The collagen and niacinamide combo plumps the skin and softens the look of fine lines. It's also really soothing if you got a bit too much sun that day. I use it twice a week, usually after a hot shower so my pores are happy. It's the closest thing I've found to a spa facial in your pyjamas, and it's a fraction of the price.

Essie Gel Top Coat plus Fairy Tailor 40 set
I am picky about pink polishes because so many of them go too cool, too Barbie, too Pepto. Fairy Tailor is the exact dusty pink I want all summer. It's milky, slightly warm, and it gives that clean girl manicure look without much effort.
The set comes with the Essie Gel Top Coat that doesn't need a UV lamp, which is the part I love most. Two coats of Fairy Tailor, one swipe of the gel top coat, and you get a glossy salon finish that actually lasts the week. No nail tech, no booking, no UV gel commitment. If your nails grow fast like mine and you don't want to redo them every three days, this combo is a small game changer for your home manicure.

Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum and Collagen Jelly Cream
These two together are my current obsession. The PDRN Pink Peptide Serum is light, slightly tacky in the best way, and it sinks in fast. PDRN is one of those buzzy K beauty ingredients right now and it really does make skin look bouncier. I noticed a difference in firmness around my jaw after about three weeks of consistent use.
The Collagen Jelly Cream is the perfect partner. It has niacinamide and hydrolysed collagen, and it keeps your skin barrier hydrated for a full 24 hours, even in air conditioning that usually leaves my cheeks flaky. The texture is jelly like and cooling, which feels amazing on hot evenings. Together they give you that glassy, plump, just had a facial finish without the price tag of a real facial.

Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum, ginseng and retinal
The undereye situation is real for me, especially when I'm not sleeping enough or I've been staring at a screen too long. This serum has become a permanent fixture in my evening routine. The ginseng wakes things up, and the retinal works on fine lines and tone over time. Retinal is a step up from regular retinol, more potent but generally still gentle if you ease in.
I pat a tiny amount around my eyes and on the orbital bone every other night to start, then more often once my skin got used to it. After a month I noticed my under eyes looking less crepey and my skin feeling firmer. Bonus, the bottle is small so it's easy to travel with, and the formula doesn't pill under sunscreen the next morning.

How I layer them
Morning is light. Cleanse, Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum, Collagen Jelly Cream, sunscreen, done. Evening is the indulgent one. Cleanse, the Medicube duo, the Beauty of Joseon eye serum on alternating nights, and the Biodance mask twice a week before bed. On weekends I add Fairy Tailor on the nails while my mask works its magic.
Five steps, soft pink mood, zero stress.
Why this edit works for summer
These four products solve the things summer skin actually struggles with. Hydration that lasts in the heat, plumpness when sun and salt water leave your skin tired, soft pink colour that flatters every undertone, and an eye treatment that hides those late summer nights. Nothing on this list is fussy or overly precious. Everything earns its space.
If you want to build a soft pink summer beauty routine that feels expensive but is actually pretty affordable, start with one of these and add the others as you go. I'd start with the Medicube duo if your skin is feeling tired, or the Biodance mask if you want fast and visible glow.
